Compliance
The FDA resolved the semaglutide shortage on April 22, 2025. Compounding is permitted only for individually identified patients when a prescribing practitioner determines that the compounded preparation produces a significant difference for their patient compared to the FDA-approved product.
General
Payment is taken upfront. If the provider finds you ineligible during screening, the charge is refunded minus a $50 consultation fee. In KS, LA, MS, NM, and WV, state law requires a live video or phone consultation, adding a $25 synchronous-visit fee at checkout.
Dosing is organized into six Levels rather than raw milligrams, each level roughly four weeks with gradual increases. Members choose a pharmacy, a formulation (base plus an optional vitamin or amino-acid additive), and a format (pen or vial).
Ola Health is a marketplace platform: it is not a medical provider and does not employ physicians. Telehealth consultations run through Beluga Health, an independent medical group (Medical Director Dr. Jonah Mink, NPI 1083052351), and prescriptions are filled by partner compounding pharmacies.
