Compliance
The FDA sent Eden a warning letter on June 8, 2026 (MARCS-CMS 728279) over website claims that implied Eden compounds its own medication and that its compounding pharmacies are FDA-licensed.
Wegovy and Zepbound are FDA-approved for weight loss. Ozempic and Mounjaro are FDA-approved for Type 2 Diabetes and prescribed off-label for weight loss at provider discretion.
The FDA resolved the semaglutide shortage on April 22, 2025. Compounding is permitted only for individually identified patients when a prescribing practitioner determines that the compounded preparation produces a significant difference for their patient compared to the FDA-approved product.
