The FDA resolved the semaglutide shortage on April 22, 2025. Compounding is permitted only for individually identified patients when a prescribing practitioner determines that the compounded preparation produces a significant difference for their patient compared to the FDA-approved product.
General
Eligibility is ages 18 to 75 with BMI 30+, or BMI 25+ with a weight-related condition. Exclusions include pregnancy, Type 1 diabetes, active cancer, recent bariatric surgery, history of pancreatitis, insulin or sulfonylurea use, and personal or family history of MTC or MEN syndrome.
Anti-nausea medication is included at no charge with provider approval.
Cancellation and Refund
The Monthly Plan is a 3-month treatment plan, billed and shipped monthly until the plan is fulfilled. It does not renew into a new term on its own, and a provider follow-up every three months comes before any renewal.
